Botswana

GPS co-ordinates only included for those not found in Tracks 4 Africa.

Tsodilo Hills: HQ campsite

A nice spot under the Female Hill right by the park HQ. It had a “wild camping” feel to it, but there was use of a reasonable enough ablution block and tap.

Maun: Audi Camp

A fairly large camp with good ablutions and a pool. We thought it was a little pricey for what it is, but a nice enough place.

Moremi Game Reserve:

Kaziikini Campsite: Nice camp 20+ km outside Moremi. Much better ablutions than expected. Good place to stay before entering the park.

Third Bridge: Large camp pitches, decent enough ablutions, wild camp feel.

Khwai Community Camp: it was a bit tricky to find as the co-ords were wrong on their flyer (in T4A as Khwai Community Camp). There are no facilities at all, just a pitch, however it’s in an amazing setting and we had wonderful wildlife experiences here.

Chobe National Park:

Savuti Camp: Large sandy pitches in a great location with braai stands and good ablutions.

Ihaha Camp: Another great location right on the river front, braai stands as seems to be the norm now. Ablutions could do with a renovation, but reasonable enough.
